James is a Partner at Bluejay Capital Partners, where he leverages a career in the Transportation and Logistics industry to lead origination and execution of investment opportunities including capital raising, deal structuring and portfolio company growth. He serves as a board member for RPM Freight Systems and Pacific West LLC.

Prior to Bluejay, he was Director of Corporate Development at OmniTRAX, leading transaction processes, including sourcing, due diligence, and execution of investments, partnerships, and joint ventures across rail, trucking, transloading, and other transportation businesses including a key role in new market expansions. Previous roles also include experience at Black Hills Corp and Porsche.

James is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona.

Outside of work, James is involved within the community serving as a Board Member at Denver Children’s Foundation for over 4 years, an organization which raises and grants over $1.5m annually to at-risk youth in Colorado.
