Billy is a Managing Partner at Bluejay Capital Partners with decades of experience in owning, operating, buying, and selling transportation and logistics companies. He serves as a board member for BWT Logistics.

Prior to co-founding Bluejay Capital, he started Bluejay Advisors, a firm focused on advising PE, family offices and business owners on strategic transactions throughout the T&L space for over 10 years. Previously, he worked as a management consultant for Accenture in Washington, DC, before developing an investor group to acquire a distressed transportation company in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1995. As CEO and Owner of Hart Transportation, he grew the company to several terminals throughout the Southeast. Billy and Hart Transportation received numerous awards including Fastest Growing Private Company, as recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine before selling to a public logistics company in 2012.

Billy holds a B.A. in Economics from the Johns Hopkins University.

Outside of work, Billy spends quality time with his tolerant wife and two daughters in Jacksonville, FL
